2011 NFL Mock Draft: Will Patrick Peterson and Cam Newton Fall O

Whether they are present or not, the top NFL prospects will be have their names called at the NFL Draft on April 28.

But who is going to have their names called?

Nobody knows the answer to that question, but mock drafts and speculation dominate NFL headlines this time of year. Take a look at mock drafts from two-and-half months ago and Clemson's Da'Quan Bowers was the surefire first overall pick.

Then the BCS National Championship Game was played and Auburn's Nick Fairley joined the conversation.

Then Auburn's Cam Newton worked out for the media and suddenly vaulted into the position of the top quarterback available.

All the while, LSU's Patrick Peterson has been considered the best overall prospect available, but has kept guessers weary since no defensive back has ever been selected higher than third overall.

Where do Newton and Peterson stand now? Newton had a rough NFL Combine; Peterson is falling victim to other prospects filling team needs better than he does.

Let's see where they'll likely be picked and break down the rest of the first round along the way.
